Nicole Eglinton

CEO / Principal Audiologist

Hi, I’m Nicole Eglinton (née Grimm), proud Chief Executive Officer and Principal Audiologist of All Ears & Speech and Little Allied Health. All Ears & Speech and Little Allied Health has grown from a genuine enjoyment of empowering clients and families to be confident communicators and live their best lives. This involves a collaborative approach from a dedicated team of audiologists, speech pathologists, psychologists, and clinical support officers who all believe in the same mission.

I completed my Master’s Degree in Audiology in June 2002 at Flinders University, Adelaide. Previously, I completed a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Psychology (June 1997, Flinders University).

Since graduating my career has primarily focused on paediatric audiology and implantable hearing technology. I have extensive experience in neonatal diagnostic assessments, standard and complex paediatric behavioural assessments, auditory processing assessment and management, and implantable hearing technology evaluation and management (e.g., cochlear implants and bone conduction implant technology). A highlight in my early career was playing an integral role in South Australia’s state-wide rollout of the newborn hearing screening program.

My love of audiology extends to fitting hearing aids and other amplification devices to both adults and children. I have held various Senior Audiology positions prior to starting All Ears & Speech and Little Allied Health. These include Can:Do Hearing, the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Newborn Hearing Screening, the South Australian Cochlear Implant Centre, The Princess Margaret Hospital for Children and Northern Territory Hearing Services.

I am an active member of Audiology Australia, Clinically Certified and have held various roles on the local Audiology Australia state branch (including Vice President and the State Branch representative for the Federal Executive Council).

I am committed to advancing excellence in hearing healthcare and going that extra step to delight our clients and families. I regularly attend professional development training sessions and workshops to ensure best practice principles and the latest research is incorporated in all we do.

Out of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my crazy family of boys – husband Marcus and cheeky youngsters Darcy, Lewie and Tommy. There is never a dull moment in my household and many of our clients enjoy the stories that get brought to work. I would like to say I lead an active lifestyle – and certainly this is one of my goals in 2022!
